How Do We Diagnose Dry Eye Disease?
Our diagnostic process starts with an assessment and focuses on getting to the root of what is causing your dry eye. We use specialized diagnostic technology to examine your meibomian glands, which are oil-producing glands on your eyelids that are prone to infection or clogging; the quality of your tears, including how long they stay on your eye; and other factors to find the source of your dry eye.
What Does Our Dry Eye Treatment Include?
We have many ways to treat dry eye, including trusted solutions like prescription eye drops and supplements to improve eye health and function, as well as advanced treatments such as Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), a 15-minute treatment that revitalizes your meibomian glands with gentle light pulses. Depending on the severity of your condition, your doctor may recommend several of the multiple solutions that we have at our disposal.
