Education & Background
Dr. Kierrah Llanos is a dedicated optometrist at University Vision Centre in El Paso, Texas. Originally from Sioux City, Iowa, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of South Dakota before completing her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Houston College of Optometry. Her clinical rotations in Dallas and Lake Charles, Louisiana, gave her experience across a wide range of patient care settings, broadening her clinical perspective across diverse patient needs.

Meet Dr. Llanos
Dr. Llanos was inspired to pursue optometry by her childhood eye doctor, whose care helped her see clearly and sparked a lifelong passion for vision care. She believes in treating patients the way she would treat her own family: with respect, thoroughness, and compassion. She’s especially committed to educating patients on the connection between eye health and overall wellness. She takes pride in identifying overlooked issues and guiding patients toward real solutions.
When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Llanos enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, testing new recipes, and going on nature walks with her cat, Lulu.
