Keep Your Eyes on the Future
Comprehensive eye exams are an invaluable tool for protecting and maintaining your health. Eye exams not only ensure that you are using the best vision correction tools for your needs and keeping your eyes healthy, but they protect you from diseases related to other illnesses, such as diabetes. It is recommended that adults and seniors have their eyes examined once a year.
University Vision Centre is the essential resource for your eye health in El Paso. Our comprehensive eye exams, offered by experienced professionals, ensure that you have the best care possible and gain insight into the health of your eyes.
All of our patients are evaluated with several different tests, one of them being an assessment of their prescription. A refraction gives insight into whether you need vision correction, and if so, what prescription you require to see optimally. A refraction determines if you have myopia, hyperopia, or astigmatism, and how severe your prescription may be.
Regular comprehensive eye exams are essential in maintaining ocular health. Many eye diseases progress unnoticed, because they do not present any initial symptoms or discomfort. Your optometrist can correctly detect, identify, and manage eye diseases that fall under this umbrella, such as glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. Our comprehensive eye exams cover all the bases, so that you can rest easy knowing your eyes are at their best.
